I thought this was one of the more interesting cards I’ve received from Postcrossing so far:
This card shows the Qing Dynasty emperor Qianlong. Although I always think of Chinese emperors as being from ancient times, Qianlong reigned from 1735 to 1796, which isn’t very long ago.
This card comes from Taiwan.
I can’t quite make out what this insect is on this stamp, but if anyone knows more about it, please let us know in the comments.
