In the past few months I have received two different maps of Taiwan from the official Postcrossing site.
The first is a shaped card that looks like a reproduction of a vintage map of the island. On the back, the sender wrote only “I hope you happy everyday” which is a nice sentiment.
The second card shows Taiwan made up of various native animals. The cat-like animal at bottom right is Neofelis nebulosa brachyura, or the Formosan clouded leopard. The leopard lived only on the island, but has been considered extinct since the early 1990s.
Thanks, Taiwanese Postcrossers!
