I got my first card from Hungary:

The very kind Vikki sent this card showing a panorama of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. In between the bridges, on the right side of the river (the Danube), you can see the Parliament buildings.

I learned today that the name Budapest comes from the combination of the names of two towns, Buda and Pest, which united in 1873. The famous Chain Bridge, which you can see in the foreground, was built as the first permanent bridge across the Danube in this area and unites Buda on the left (west) with Pest on the right (east).

What a beautiful panorama! Perhaps one day I will see it in real life. Have you ever been to Budapest?
