For some reason, whenever I think of the word borsch, I feel it needs an exclamation point. Borsch! I’m not so sure why I’m so excited about it, because I’ve never actually tasted it. But now I have a recipe, thanks to this Postcrossing card from Ukraine:
The recipe gives serving suggestions for the borsch: “Serve with sour cream, chopped greens, and pampushkas (dumplings)” Well, delicious, but now I need a recipe card that tells me how to make pampushkas!
When I get back home perhaps I will try my hand at making borsch. Have you ever made a recipe from a postcard?
